From a time when monsters escaped the pages of Gothic literature to become classics of the silver screen, through modern television’s current horror renaissance, Dragon Con’s Horror Track is your home for the macabre. Our programming features a signature mix of actors, authors, artists, musicians, scholars, and, of course, fans in a celebration of the sinister and the grotesque. We plan on making this year’s programming our most varied to date, with increased film discussions joining the great literary panels you’ve come to expect. Tentative topics include a retrospective of the notorious Blind Dead films, current trends in horror publishing, fan discussions devoted to TV series such as Penny Dreadful and Bates Motel, a look back at 85 years of Universal Monsters, the cult classic Phantom of the Paradise, and the sure-to-be-controversial panel “Bride of Dreadpunk”… with more to be announced!
The Horror Track is Sponsored by Netherworld Haunted House. Check them out!
Our track room is located in the Peachtree Room, on the 8th floor of the The Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel, with some large-room events scattered throughout “Dragon Con Country.” For the latest location details, panel descriptions, featured guests, and any possible changes, please check the App.
